INTRO: G C G C]

G C]
I'm staring out into the night,
G C]
trying to hide the pain.
G C]
I'm going to the place where love,
   Em(7) D C]
and feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
  Em(7) D C] (hold)
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.

(Chorus)
G D]
Well i'm going home,
         C] D]
back to the place where i belong,
             Em(7) D C]
and where your love has always been enough for me.
G] D]
I'm not running from.
       C] D]
No, i think you got me all wrong.
     Em(7) D C]
I don't regret this life i chose for me,
         Em(7) D C] (hold)
but these places and these faces are getting old,
                   G C]
so i'm going home.
                  G C]
Well i'm going home.

G] C]
The miles are getting longer, it seems,
G C]
the closer i get to you.
G] C]
I've not always been the best man or friend for you,
                            Em(7)]
but your love, it makes true,
    D C]
and i don't know why.
   Em(7) D C]
You always seem to give me another try.

(Chorus)
G D]
Well i'm going home,
         C] D]
back to the place where i belong,
             Em(7) D C]
and where your love has always been enough for me.
G] D]
I'm not running from.
       C] D]
No, i think you got me all wrong.
     Em(7) D C]
I don't regret this life i chose for me,
         Em(7) D C]
but these places and these faces are getting old,

(Bridge) (I'm pretty sure it's these chords)
D] C]
Be careful what you wish for,
                                Em(7)]
'cause you just might get it all.
      D C]
You just might get it all,
                         D]
and then some you don't want.
                          C]
Be careful what you wish for,
                               Em(7)]
'cause you just might get it all.
     D C]
You just might get it all, yeah!

INTERLUDE: Em(7) D C] (x2)

(Final Chorus)
G D]
Well i'm going home,
         C] D]
back to the place where i belong,
             Em(7) D C]
and where your love has always been enough for me.
G] D]
I'm not running from.
       C] D]
No, i think you got me all wrong.
     Em(7) D C]
I don't regret this life i chose for me,
         Em(7) D C]
but these places and these faces are getting old.
            Em(7) D C]
I said these places and these faces are getting old,
              Em(7) D C Em(7) D C]
So I'm going home.
                G]
Well I'm going home.

Some Other Things I Have to Say.

1. Hold means to just strum the note once in this case and wait until next chord, kinda jump at the next chord loudly.

2. These chords don't seem right while playing along with the c.d. and that is because the other 2 (or 3 if counting bass) play notes like F#] and B] and you can't hear the Chris Daughtry] (acoustic guitar) is playing, but these are the chords he plays during this song. I have seen him do it. These are the acoustic chords, and as i said before it might not sound right, but it is played.

3. The Em(7)] has parentheses around the 7 because you can either play an Em] regularly (000220) or play it with the 7 (030220). Any way it sounds fine.

4. They might not all be correct, but I am positive enough to post them.

5. This is a great song, listen to it. Daughtry] is a great band too.

6. This is my first CHORD tabs, so even though it's not really my first try to go easy :P

7. ENJOY!
