Here's the tab to Zep's Heartbreaker. I think the main riff is right, but
I'm not too sure about a few chords, and some of the lyrics, so
corrections are welcome.

Hey fellas have you heard the news you know the ?'s back in town

A woman came 'long just to watch an' see all the fellas lay their
							   money down

The ?style? is new but the pay's the same as it was so long ago

    But from her eyes a different smile {can't understand this at all}

Now, play this 3x:

e:|-7-5-|	After this, go to the 1st intro riff, and play it
B:|-7-5-|	twice. Then, play the 2nd riff once, and the 1st
G:|-7-5-|	riff once.
D:|-7-7-|
A:|-5-7-|
E:|---5-|

After this, the it goes back to the verse riff, with these lyrics:

Well it's been ten years and maybe more since I first set eyes on you
The best years of my life gone by, here I am alone and blue
Some peaple cry and some people die by the wicked ways of love
But I just keep on rollin' 'long with a praise from the Lord above

Play the 'chrod' riff (above) 3x, and then this:

e:|------------------------------------|
B:|------------------------------------|
G:|------------------------------------|
D:|------------------------------------|
A:|---6-8-9-10-------------6-8-9-10----|
E:|-8----------6bb-8-8-8-8-----------6-|
Play 2x

E:|-12-------------12bb-12-12-12-12-------------12-|
Play 1x

The lyrics for this part are:

People talkin' all around
'bout the way you left me flat
i don't care what the people say
i know where their job is at
one thing i do have on my mind
if you could cloarify please do
is the way you called me another guy's name
when i tried to make love . . . to you

just after 'to you', this riff comes in:

e:|------------------------------------------|
B:|-3---3-3---3-3---3-5--3---3-3---3-3---3-5-|
G:|---4-----4-----4--------4-----4-----4-----|
D:|------------------------------------------|
A:|------------------------------------------|
E:|------------------------------------------|

After this, comes the solo, which I'm not even going to attempt.
After the solo, you come back to the 'verse' riff, with these lyrics:

{can't understand first line}
abuse my love a thousand times, however hard i try
heartbreaker your time has come can't take your evil ways
go away heartbreaker

now, play the 'chord' riff 6 times, and start playing the 1st intro riff.
Play through it once, and start it again, but leave out the last 9 notes.

If anybody has the solo, please post it. I'm also looking for TAB/chords
to hendrix's Purple Haze.

I don't know the whole solo note for note, as there's alot of noisy 'riffery'. But I can do that as well.. It was the technical problem of how to bend 'that' note. (see tab for 'that note') Incidentally, I've seen a few other posts of the very beggining, asnd the way I do it may not be correct, but it's not the problem area anyways :) E:------------------- B:------------------- G:--2--5^2^0--------- D:------------2^0---- a couple times A:-----------------3- E:------------------- E:-------- B:-------- G:--5^2^0- D:-------- a bunch of times then, the problem area.. :) A:-------- E:-------- E:----------- B:----------- G:--5b9^2^0-- D:----------- A:----------- E:----------- ^--that bend right there.. my pinky IS NOT strong enough to bend from 5 to 9 I doubt there are many in the world who's pinkies could do that nicely.. Eighther way, I don't believe Pagey had the miracle pinky.. :) I figure he was pressing the string down to left of the nut (between the nut and the tuning peg. He does this in other places as well (namely some cuts of live Dazed and Confused I've seen..) So, while you hammer down the 5^2^0 lick with your left hand only, take your right hand, and reach past your nut, and press down the g string every time your right hand plays the 5 (release for the 2^0) I've tried doing this on my Gibson, but there's not quite enough space between the string (after the nut) and the wood of the head of the guitar, so I can't quite get the bend high enough without bending the string as well as pushing it down behind the nut. This is easy to do on my Strat though. Kinda makes me wonder if Jimmy switched back to a tele just for the solo of this song. (as the solo itself was just an afterthought, and recorded after the song was finished..) (hmm then again it was supposedly one of the first things he recorded using a Marshall) (one would think he'd be using the Les Paul through the Marshall.. *shrug*) does anybody out there even care? heh :) well I hope some1 finds some use for this tab..
